Obituary

Terry Pritchett passed away June 22 nd peacefully at his home surrounded by his wife and family. Terry fought a long hard battle with cancer and was finally able to leave this life peacefully knowing he had done all he needed to do. Terry was born on August 6 th , 1940 in Long beach, California to Maureen Pritchett, unfortunately Terry never knew his biological father but was adopted and raised by his maternal grandparents Leon and Mary Pritchett. He graduated from high school in Springville, Utah. He met his wife Janice Molyneaux and they were married in 1958 in Mona, Utah. Terry worked as a brick mason for most of his career and worked for several contractors who he loved and enjoyed working for. After he retired from brick laying, he found joy teaching masonry at Salt Lake Community College and loved sharing his trade with others. Terry and his wife Janice went on to manage Aspen Grove Marina at Strawberry for nine years for the Phillips Family. Being there brought great joy and happiness to them both. Many thanks to the Phillips family and all their friends at Aspen Grove Marina. Terry enjoyed fishing and hunting with family and friends as well as many great adventures with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Janice; sisters Dona Bawden and Cecilia Wilkinson; children Kevin and (Diana) Pritchett, Lorie and (Randy) Pfaff, Mike and (Holli) Pritchett, Amy and (Matt) Allred; as well as 13 grandchildren and 17, soon to be 19, great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Leon and Mary Pritchett. Terry and his family would like to ask that in lieu of flowers all donations be made to the Huntsman Cancer Institute. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, June 25, 2019, 11:30am, Walker Funeral Home, 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork.  Family and friends may visit that morning from 10-11:30am at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Spanish Fork Cemetery, 420 South 400 East.  Condolences may be offered, and memories shared online at www.walkersanderson.com.
