Thelma Young Adams peacefully passed away April 25 th , 2018. She was born September 18 th , 1932 in Provo, Utah to Ivan and Della Young. Thelma is survived by two brothers Jack Young (Dora) and Jay Young (Marlene.) She was proceeded in death by her one sister Faye Sturgill (Charles.) Thelma married Stanley D Adams December 21 st , 1948. They were later sealed in the Manti Temple, September 1971. Together they had three children: Stanley J Adams (Jan), Steven Adams (Laurie), Susan Adams. Thelma was the grandmother to 15 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren. Thelma made a career out of selling Avon for over fifty years; where she made and kept many lifelong friends. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She supported all her kids, grandkids and great grandkids in every aspect of their lives; especially generations of baseball games. Thelma was enthusiastic about the holidays, especially her love for the Christmas Season. Thelma had a generous spirit and would help anyone in need. We'd like to give thanks to Covington Senior Living in Orem and Intermountain Hospice. Also, a special thanks to Lisa, her hospice nurse, and Allie her aide. The support and help were greatly appreciated by all who Thelma is survived by. There will be a viewing held, Saturday, April 28 th from 10:00-12:00 p.m. at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 E 800 N Orem, Utah, followed by a graveside service at the Orem City Cemetery.
