Vera Alene Lewellen Lange, born March 30, 1921, has passed away peacefully at the age of 102 on July 9, 2023. Vera was preceded in death by her husband John A (Jack) Lange, her parents Ezra Bain and Lillian Rebecca Lewellen and her 7 siblings: James Henry, Francie Eldwood, Lillian Eva, Benjamin Willis, Sarah May, Clara Pearl, and Thelma Lucina.

Vera was born in Payson, Utah and lived in Orem most of her life in the home she built with her husband Jack and their 5 children. She leaves behind 5 children: Jack (Vicki), Russ (Karen), Terry (Kathy), Debbie Leilani (Curtis), Kit (Tiffany) and 19 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren, and 25 great-great grandchildren. She was an amazing, strong woman who lived a long and healthy life.  She was a fierce mother and an animal advocate.  There was nothing that she wouldn't try and she stayed the course on anything she made her mind up to.  She turned 102 this year and with it came her 102 grandchild.  Being a centennian was in her nature. She had a will to live beyond anything that anyone could imagine.  Her family was so dear to her and she lived for each of them.  We will miss our mother and grandmother greatly.  A legacy left for eternity.

A viewing will be held Wednesday July 12 from 6-8pm and Thursday July 13 from 10:00-10:45am and her service is on Thursday July 13 11am at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home 646 E 800 N Orem UT.
