Vera Bernell Scow Parmley, passed away 12 August, 2022. She was born January 2, 1929 to Andrew Lavar and Agnes Ellen Scow (deceased). Vera had two brothers, Eugene (deceased) and Allan Scow. She had many cousins whom she loved dearly.
She graduated from Wasatch Academy in Mount Pleasant Utah, received a diploma from Wolff's Dress Design School, graduated from Carbon College and then Brigham Young University. She taught school in Alpine School District for 28 years. She served as Family History Consultant at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, and was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Vera was married to Donald Lloyd Parmley (deceased) and is survived by her children: Donna Dalton, David Parmley, Mary Ellen Brailsford (Carl), Thomas Parmley (Christine), and Anna Marie Pino (Nik). She was a grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother, she loved each and every one.
Her greatest happiness came from her family and being active in the Gospel. She loved the church hymns and often read them as scripture. Her last thoughts: Exercise self-discipline and Keep the Commandments.
Graveside Service will be in Price City Cemetery.
