Vicki Jean Bronson Leonard, Wife of Robert Blaine Leonard, passed away peacefully January 26, 2022 surrounded by family in Fort Myers, Florida after a long struggle with chronic illness. Vicki was born in Provo, Utah, December 30, 1969, daughter of the late Tracy Victor Bronson and Betty Jean Bronson. She graduated from McClintock High School in Tempe, Arizona in 1988. She attended Brigham Young University before serving a full-time mission in Padova, Italy from 1993-1994. Soon after, she met and married Robert Leonard in Tucson, Arizona in 1995, to whom she was married for 26 years.
Vicki and Robert loved a good adventure, which took them to Tamuning, Guam; Mesa, Arizona; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Round Rock, Texas; Tokyo, Japan; and Naples, Florida. Vicki spent most of her time caring for her three children, but also volunteered many years at her children's school and ran two sewing businesses. Vicki enjoyed sewing, running, watching True Crime shows, and spending time with her family, including her two beloved dogs, Katsu and Mozzie. Vicki is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, in the Naples Ward, Naples Florida Stake. Throughout her life she served in many callings including District Primary president, various primary callings, Young Womens Camp Director and leader, Seminary Teacher, and Sunday School Teacher.
Vicki is survived by her husband Robert Blaine Leonard; sisters Dana Bronson Cipolla and Suzette Bronson Clark; children, Lauren Leonard Ashford, Ian Blaine Leonard, and Caden Robert Leonard; one grandchild Emma Christine Ashford. She was preceded by her parents Tracy Victor Bronson and Betty Jean Bronson.
Funeral Services will be Saturday February 5, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home 646 East 800 North, Orem. Friends may visit with the family from 12:45-1:45 pm at the funeral home prior to the services. There will be a live stream of the service on Saturday at 2:00 pm.
