Obituary

VIRGINIA STREULI ESPLIN FULLMER Virginia Streuli Esplin Fullmer of Orem, Utah was born June 13, 1928 in Cedar City, Utah.  She passed away quietly at home on June 20, 2018, seven days after she turned 90 years old.  She grew up in Cedar, graduated from Cedar High School and attended the Branch Agricultural College (BAC) in Cedar where she met the man she would marry, Joseph Elden "Bunny" Fullmer from Delta, Utah. They were married on May 1, 1952, and the marriage was solemnized in the Provo Utah LDS Temple on Dec. 12, 1987. They bought their first home and started their family with a son, Joseph Lynn Fullmer, then daughter Ronda Jean Fullmer.   The young family moved to Orem in 1965 where Virginia spent the rest of her life. She was an accomplished homemaker, mother, and friend.  She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and often spoke of her abiding faith.  Virginia's talents included embroidery, crocheting, knitting, painting, gardening and making many beautifully pieced quilts.  She loved reading.  Her most treasured talent was making everyone feel important and loved. She lived her life with a smile that she shared with all. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emma Matilda Streuli Esplin and Homer Webster Esplin, her husband Joe, her grandson, Tyler Salisbury and her brother, William Esplin.  She is survived by her sister, Emma Mae Brockmeier, son Lynn Fullmer, daughter Ronda (Dirk) Salisbury; grandchildren, Josh (Liz) Salisbury, Haylee Salisbury, Zach (Ashlee) Salisbury and Kade (Jessica) Salisbury, and 10 great-grandchildren.   Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 27, at 11 a.m. at the Orem Suncrest 3 rd Ward chapel (190 North 800 West, Orem) at 11 a.m. Friends may call at the church prior to the funeral from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment at the Orem City Cemetery.
