Obituary

Walter Henry Hills III

March 5, 1956 - January 6, 2023

Wally passed away January 6th due to complications following heart surgery that became too much for his body to bear. He was born to Walter Hills Jr. and Vicki Natter Hills in Murray, Utah.

Wally's heart was so full from all those that He met and interacted with. He loved feeling responsible and needed within his circles of friends and family. Work, hobbies, and strangers all quickly became as close as family to him. he was such a kind, caring, yet stubborn, loving man. Wally loved spending time with others. Whether he was going to hockey games, going on a Harley ride, or going to Monster truck shows he loved sharing his passions with everyone.

"What an awesome example of hard work and perseverance my Dad was! I will always have him to thank for a 'hard knock life, hands dirty way of learning.' Thank you for everything you passed on to me (except the nail biting, I could've done without that). You will be missed forever! Until we meet again!" -Wally

"Dad was my hero, not only to me but to my kids. He was the strongest, bravest man I know. The world just won't be the same without him! He was kind and gentle but hard at the same time. He would give you the shirt off his back in a heartbeat!" -Ashley

"My Grandpa was a man who lived for the things and people he loved. He taught me to always help others in need, always be respectful and most importantly what it means to be a man. He lived hard and hard livin' ain't easy!". -Jasic

"My Grandpa was my best friend and the closest thing I had to a dad. He taught me to be a good hearted person, to give, and to always be there for someone. He was always there for me to make me laugh when I was sad and he always was so good at helping me get out of the worst situations. He loved so many people and he was so loved. Not one day will pass that I won't miss my Grandpa. He is my super hero and the one I looked up to my whole life. I will forever be thankful to be able to say he was the man who made me who I am. He saved my life in so many ways and I will forever miss him. I love you Grandpa!" -Braysen
