Wendie Kaye Adams, age 50, of Payson, passed away on October 7, 2018. Wendie was born on March 22, 1968 in Bellevue, Washington to Kay L & Claudette Smith Hansen. She was one of five children. She grew up in Lindon and Pleasant Grove and graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1986. Throughout high school Wendie enjoyed being on the cheerleading squad. She married the love of her life, Kent Edwin Adams, on November 12, 2010 in Provo, Utah. After school, Wendie worked at Novel, later she owned and operated a daycare while she was raising her own children and worked as a cashier at a convenient store and most recently she worked as a custodian for the Nebo School District. She loved scrapbooking, word searches, being in the outdoors, four wheeling and going to their cabin in Fairview. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Wendie enjoyed working in the temple, as a librarian, and all other callings she had. Wendie is survived by her husband Kent, children Rebecca Long (Justin) of Vineyard, Konnor Sidwell (McKayla) of Payson, her parents, Kay L & Claudette Smith Hansen of Lindon, Niki Adams of Longmont, CO, Shea Adams of Castle Pines, CO, and Shandie Schardine (Louis) of Santaquin, 7 grandchildren, and siblings Corey Hansen (Yvette) of St. George, Bryce Hansen of Lindon, Stacy Ottesen (Phil) of Elkridge, and Karilynn Berriel (Julian) of Springville. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Highline Ward, 586 West 1750 South, Payson. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at the church. A visitation will also be held prior to services from 9:30- 10:30 a.m.  at the church.
