William Thomas Jones (Tom), passed away on May 20, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 18, 1941 to Thomas and Alice Jones. He graduated from Orem High School, after which he went into the Navy and served in the Vietnam War.

After returning from the service he had many adventures working in the Northwest. When he returned home, he met the love of his life Karen. They were married July 27, 1973; they had 49 glorious years together. Daddy had many things in his life that he loved, but nothing more than his family.

He worked at the Tooele Army Depot for years until his retirement. Dad was very well known for many skills, he could fix anything, but his favorite thing to do was weld. He was an amazing welder and built many trailers and wood burning stoves for family and friends. He would drop everything to help someone.

Dad loved to hunt, fish, camp, and being with his family. Dad's getaway was spending time at his property in Indianola with the family and friends.

Dad is survived by his loving wife Karen Marie Canfield Jones, Christy (Clint) Roundy, Nick (Tricia) Jones, Becky Jones, Joseph (Bryndie) Jones, and James Jones. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his 2 sons Christopher Donald Jones and Joshua Cody Jones; his parents Thomas Edward and Alice Jones.

The family would like to thank all the many people that have touched dad's heart. He is now with his two boys getting to raise them and teach them to become great men like his did with all his kids. We love you daddy, and thank you for everything you instilled in all of us. You will be truly missed.

Graveside Services will be Thursday, May 26, 2022, 1:30 pm in the Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State Street, Provo. Family and friends may visit that morning from 11:00 am- 1:00 pm at the Provo West Stake, 2100 West 620 North, Provo. Military Honors will be performed by the Timpanogos Honor Guard.
