After years of struggling with health problems Wyman Virdell Taylor Jr (52) left this life and returned to his Father in Heaven on November 15th 2017. Wyman was the youngest of 9 children he was born on October 1st 1965 in Provo Utah to Wyman Virdell Taylor and Aleen Virginia Dickey. Wyman married Ellice Taylor February 1, 1985 and together they had 7 children. Daniel Taylor (32) (LeeAnn), Heather Taylor (31), Amber Carroll (28) (Aaron), Joshua Taylor (24), Bryan Taylor (23), Samuel Taylor (20), Timothy Taylor (18) and 6 grandchildren, Max (11), Savannah (10), Errlamay (4), Emalee(4), MaKenzie (2), and Alexander (7 months). Wyman enjoyed scouting and was in leadership positions with the Boy Scouts of America for more than 28 years receiving multiple awards including the Second Miler, The District Award of Merit and others. He was proud to have all 5 of his boys achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. He enjoyed camping, fishing and boating with not only the scouts but also with his children and grandchildren. Wyman loved wood carving and was a member of the Utah Valley Woodcarvers. He filled every spare minute with carving, working on one of his many craft projects or teaching a group of scouts. He also enjoyed sharing these talents with his grandchildren and would often paint their fingernails with glow-in-the dark enamel paint. He could recycle a pile of junk into fun and useful objects and artworks. Funeral services will be held Friday November 24, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the Orem Park 1st ward building at 50 South 750 West Orem. Family and friends may visit before the service from 10:00-10:45 a.m. The interment and a short graveside service will be held on Monday November 27th at 11:00 a.m. in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
